Shauna has over 25 years of experience in the public and accounting industry with a primary focus in the healthcare industry, insurance, senior housing, and non-profit sectors. She started her accounting career by obtaining her bachelor’s degree, and after a few years decided to pursue her CPA license to further her career. After working as an assistant director of finance for a company in Louisville, she decided to use her vast knowledge and experience to run her own accounting practice. She owned and operated her own practice for 7 years where she managed a team of bookkeepers that helped her support her clients. By 2020, she was looking to further her practice with a community of CPAs that led her to find the CPA MOMS Franchise. She continued to further her knowledge even after becoming a franchise owner by becoming a certified tax planner in 2021.
